TNC connector is a small coaxial connector. It is a threaded connector type RF coaxial connector. It has the characteristics of wide operating frequency band, high connection reliability, good shock resistance, and excellent mechanical and electrical performance. It is used for radio equipment and instruments. It is used for connecting RF coaxial cables in the middle, especially suitable for mobile communication equipment under vibration conditions.
Its conventional characteristic impedance is 50 ohms, and the optimal operating frequency range is 0-11GHz. In the microwave frequency band, TNC connectors perform better than BNC connectors.
Application of TNC Connector
Using LC141TB coaxial cable, TNC male to TNC male cable assembly
Maximum frequency 6 GHz, Shielding Efficiency > 100dB, Velocity of Propagation (VoP) 69.9% PTFE dielectric, hand-formable, wire-filled tin-filled copper braided outer conductor.
Low Loss TNC Male to TNC Right Angle Male Cable Assemblies
The maximum operating frequency is 2 GHz. The double shielding layer of this TNC head cable assembly is covered with tinned copper layer on the aluminum tape, and the shielding effect is greater than 90dB. A PE(F) dielectric with a VoP parameter of 84% was used, which has the advantage of low insertion loss compared to solid-state dielectrics. This flexible RF cable assembly is ideal for applications requiring flexing environments.
Use lead-free solder LC085TB coaxial cable, SMA male to TNC through-wall female
Maximum frequency 6 GHz, shielding efficiency > 100dB, Velocity of Propagation (VoP) 69.9% PTFE dielectric, also hand-formable, with tinned copper composite braided outer conductor.
